We are all busy, and we all want to spend time doing things that are important to us, be it spending more time with the kids, enjoying a hobby or focusing on our careers. Not doing routine tasks like cooking. Still, today I want to show you that there are ways to save time in the kitchen, so you still get to eat a healthy homemade meal without spending hours preparing it.

We pre-prepare meals all the time. Soups, stews, lasagnas, pasta sauces all get made in large batches and then frozen. We usually make a large batch whenever ingredients go on sale.

I hate spending long hours to prepare food maybe because I am not a good cook and am a busy person because of work, that most of the time we eat outside. Maybe cooking ahead is a good option, but I need to find the interest in cooking first.

As a WAHM getting organized in the kitchen is very helpful and cooking ahead saves me a lot of time and energy. What we usually do is on the weekends I do batch cooking and just freeze them or put in the fridge. Thanks for sharing this list! 🙂
