Happy Monday my awesome readers! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Sorry for being quite needy lately, if you have been reading my recaps you know I will soon be launching a new website called MakeMoneyYourWay.
And I would really, really appreciate if you could give me your opinion on the logos I just received from the designer in the poll below.
[polldaddy poll=7160901]
Which one do you prefer? Whatever the one, I am going with a white or transparent background. You can also leave a comment about the colors and/or slogan (I have noticed the “choose” typo) in this post’s comments.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Without further ado, I am pleased to introduce number 1
Number 2
and Number 3
soooo, what do you think?
maria@moneyprinciple says
Ah, I voted for three and this needs a bit of expalining. Theay are all visually great but it is about the messages they convey: one is a bit circular and gave me the message of threading water; two is like a press and the message I got was about being under pressure; three is great!
Maria
Pauline P says
thank you Maria!
Gary@Gajizmo.com says
Pauline, is it supposed to be “chose” or “choose”?
Pauline P says
choose!
Matt Becker says
I like #1. Simple and and easier to read. #3 would probably be my second choice.
Glen @ Monster Piggy Bank says
I like the first one, but I think there is a type with “chose”.
Pauline P says
yes, there is! thanks Glen.
Michael @ The Student Loan Sherpa says
I voted for number 1… 3 would be my second choice. I badly need a logo for my website, care to share how you generated these logos?
Pauline P says
on Fiverr! I had no idea what I wanted so chose a gig with three mockups. For RFI I knew roughly what I wanted so I picked a guy who did it straight away with my specs.
Thomas @ Your Daily Finance says
1 and 3 are my favorites…not really feeling the middle one.
Moneycone says
Hmm… I’m in the minority! I like the second one!
Pauline P says
I like the kind of hand writing on the second one for “your way” but computer+dollar sign+half moon or whatever they meant is a bit heavy imo.
William @ Bite the Bullet says
I’m also in for #2, because it has the most visual separation/distinction between make money and your way. The only drawback is the computer screen conveys the message that this only will happen online. (If that’s true, then it’s a plus, not a minus.)
DC @ Young Adult Money says
Number one is great! They are all solid logos, though. I may have to get the name of your designer 😉
My Financial Independence Journey says
I like the first one.
Brian says
The backwards “$” in the third one bothered me for some reason. I don’t know why and it really shouldn’t. So I went with number 1. It is clean and simple.
I also liked number 2, but with the computer screen it seemed a little to focused on online income and while that is an important part that is not what you are 100% about.
Pauline P says
They may have tried to give it movement, like flipping a coin I guess. Thank you for your feedback Brian.
SarahN says
I second Brian, the backwards $ stuck out to me too… therefore ,I also went to 1 as my preference
Kim@Eyesonthedollar says
#1 seemed cleaner. #2 was too busy, and I wasn’t crazy about the Money O in the third. Best of luck.
John S @ Frugal Rules says
I would have to say that I like either #1 or #3…I voted for #1 btw. I think #1 is cleaner and #3 is getting there and I think #2 is a little too busy.
Mrs PoP @ Planting Our Pennies says
I liked #1! Just seemed clean and easy to read!
Eric says
I like number one best, but I don’t like that any of them have black backgrounds. If you could get it with a white background, it would be awesome.
Pauline P says
Me neither, that is the first thing I noticed. It will either be white or transparent, but don’t know if the slogan that is now white should be black or another color then.
Eric says
If it were me, I would go with a black slogan on a white site background.
Brian @ Luke1428 says
Love #1. It’s simple and that appeals to me. Plus the imperatives “Choose the way. Earn more. Start today” stand out more. I think that’s important. Those words get a little lost in the other logos.
Pauline P says
You are right. I hadn’t put word on that but it bothered me too. Thank you Brian.
Budget and the Beach says
I picked #1. Simple and clean.
Michelle says
I like number one. All are great though 🙂
AxeMan says
I like the second one because it had the computer monitor in the logo. I tend to like logos with objects in them more, for instance mine is an “axe” 🙂
Shannon @ The Heavy Purse says
Number 1 is my fave. Nice and clean. 🙂
Debt and the Girl says
I like logo 3. Its simple but it gets its message across. Good luck!
Betsy / CollegeMom says
I really like #3. The first one is pretty, but #3 really emphasizes the “Make Money” part of the slogan and the coin for the “o” is a very nice touch.
Nick @ ayoungpro.com says
I prefer number 3!
krantcents says
I prefer #1 I like the visual and readibility.
Blair@LifeDollarsandSense says
Not sure focus of the site is. But I like number 2, mainly because the others seem very corporate to me. Like I would avoid if I saw a flyer. Good luck!
Pauline P says
Thank you! I am starting a new site about the many ways to make extra income.
Jane Savers @ Solving The Money Puzzle says
I like the lettering best in number one but the swoops or swooshes seemed too corporate. Maybe if the swooshes were less pronounced. You should know that I do not like any fuss in design. I don’t have any clutter in my home and I don’t wear more than one fashion accessory per outfit. Clean, uncluttered and to the point.
anna says
I like #1 the best, though I do like the cursive “Your Way” in the second one since it has that “personal” feel.
Grayson @ Debt Roundup says
I like #1 and #3. They have the best all around design and can transition well to anything online or off.
Canadian Budget Binder says
Out of the 3 of them I like number 1. It’s clean, simple and it stands out in my opinion. I’m sure either way you will pick the best one that you feel fits your overall mission for your new page. Good Luck Pauline!
Pauline P says
thank you Mr CBB!
maxie john says
thats nice for me ..
Jon @ MoneySmartGuides says
I like #3. For some reason #1 makes me think of scammy infomercial. #2 is OK, but #3 is clean and simple.
Tammy R says
I love #1 for the easy readability. I like how each word is a different color. I don’t like #2 at all…too confusing, too busy for me. I will still visit it if you choose it though!
Pauline P says
haha that’s a relief! but #1 has won so far 🙂
SuburbanFinance says
I like #3 and #1. However, I like #3 the best – #1 reminds me of a business logo (which isn’t a bad thing).
cj says
#1 it is, my PF maven…
Peter says
Number 3, it looks catchy and also it looks versatile enough to go everywhere.
holly says
I personally love number 2. To me it seems more personable and not as generic as the other #1 and #3. I just find they seem so overdone like I have seen the logo many times before. I like the originality of #2 : )
Pauline P says
thank you Holly! I like that your way is kind of hand written in number 2, but like someone said the computer leads to believe most of the topics will be about online money, which it won’t.
