Last Sunday, my whole family just had our early summer getaway to Lala’s Eco Park. We decided to pick a place that is far away from our small city to have some quality time together. Since we don’t have a car, we only rode our motorcycle, which added more excitement to the trip. We noticed that the road was not fully asphaltedyet, almost all the roads that we drove on were rough roads, I think that was the only bad part of going there. When we arrived, the place was stunningly beautiful; the swimming pools were turquoise and clean, and the surrounding breathtaking.
Good morning everyone! Today my VA Clarisse will share how they have an early summer getaway on a budget. Let me know if you would like to submit a guest post.
The entrance fee was only $0.5 for kids and $1.5 for adults; they also offered cottages, whose prices ranged from $0.5 to $1.5 which is very cheap compared to the other swimming pool resorts. We brought and cooked our own food instead of buying it there. We took 200 steps down to reach the exact place. It is a public swimming pool but it’s like a private one. We were the only guests during that time, but after 3 hours there were a few groups of students who arrived. We really had a great time, if you feel that you are really stressed with your daily routine, then visiting that place will totally release all your negative vibes. You can also buy souvenir items from “pasalubong center”, which offers handcraft from the native people. It is a way to showcase their talents and they are proud of their work, by buying their products it is also a small way to help them.
My sister told me that a beautiful river can be found below the swimming pool but we need to take a hundred stairs again before we could reach it. Since my daughter was really excited to see the place, she kept on asking me if we could go there.
After we ate breakfast, we decided to go down to the river, there was a sign board that those who have a heart problem and kids under 7 are not allowed to go down. I didn’t expect to be so exhausted I just want to roll down to the stairs!
There were a few more people enjoying the river. The rocks were so big, I had a hard time walking on the big stones. The river was so beautiful, my daughter and my nephews walked there directly to enjoy the cold water. I noticed that there were some people who washed their dirty clothes in there too! I asked one of the residents, she told me that the river is very important to them because they wash their clothes there and they also take a bath in there too! I also saw some men who were carrying a sack of soil from the river; I don’t think they asked permission for that and I hope it will not ruin the river.
When we went back to our cottage, my heart almost burst because I was so tired to walk up another hundred steps! This place is absolutely superb, if you are an adventurer and want to go trekking, you can also do it here and I heard that there is also a waterfall in that place but you need to walk for about 1 hour from the river. Maybe we will visit the waterfalls next time.
You don’t need to spend hundreds just to have a great adventure; all you need to do is to search online. You need to bring your own food and drinks too, this would save you a lot instead of buying foods.
Do know some specific place in your region that is like a hidden paradise?
This sounds wonderful!
Thanks Michelle!
The pools are stunning!
Wow sounds nice!
Thanks a lot Michelle!
It’s very interesting topic. I’m sure many will be glad to read this article. Thanks for sharing it. Fantastic post!
Yay, thanks Mike!
Wow, the first image is absolutely breathtaking! It looks incredible and I can understand why you call that a Paradise. The river seems to be a bit cold, though 🙂 But I would love to be there, close my eyes and listen to the relaxing sound of the water…
It is truly a small paradise Helena. Yes, the river was absolutely cold that’s why I didn’t try to swim in there. 🙂
It’s so true you can have a great, adventurous vacation without breaking the bank. All you need to do is a little research to find the low cost fun things to do.
I am still looking for a secret paradise. Thanks for giving me some hints.
I totally agree that you don’t need to spend hundreds to have a good time. We don’t know of a hidden paradise in PA yet. Sometimes we look for treasures outside of our areas and forget to appreciate what’s around us. So we want to explore our state this summer and find hidden gems.
That looks like a fantastic day with your family! Thank you so much for sharing, I love learning about more places to visit.
Wow this place is heaven! There are a lot of underrated and budget friendly places to visit. Just surf the net and you can find what really suits your needs to relax.
