I get it. You want to make extra money. Who doesn’t? But when you search about ways to get extra money, you are not inspired. That’s because a massive list of undesirable side jobs pops up. These are such jobs as delivering pizzas (what are you, a 16-year-old boy?), recycling cans (what are you, homeless?) and selling yourself on such platforms as TaskRabbit. No. Thank. You.
But now that we’ve got that ugliness out of the way, let’s focus on FUN ways to make extra money. Let’s get started having fun… I mean, making money. Because I believe the line between business and pleasure should be permeable.
Rent Your Place on Airbnb
If you have a room to spare, Airbnb can be a great way to make extra money. Heck, even if you don’t have any extra room to spare, you can still make good money. That’s because you can rent your place and stay with a friend on nights you have rented out. Offer to cook for your friend or let them stay at your place when they rent out their home.
When the time comes that you aren’t’ looking for extra income, Airbnb can still be a great way to fund your vacations. Rent out your place when you want to go on vacation. That’ll pay for your vacation rental!

Become a Sole Trader
Do you have a hobby? Probably. Why not monetize it? For instance, if you enjoy fixing your car, why not offer to fix someone else’s? Maybe even just offer to do an on-site oil change. The overhead costs are low and the pay per hour can be very rewarding.
Whatever you love, someone else loves as well. But not everyone has the time. So offer your services. You’ll be surprised once you’re making money doing something that’s fun!
Hit up an Online Casino
Now, there’s no guarantee you will come out ahead. But sites like this one have given millions in prizes. Plus, there’s no time or cost involved with commuting. Just sit down at your computer and give it a go. First, see if it’s allowed in your country. Then I encourage you to read more about online gambling on its Wiki page. This may sound a little crazy but I had a friend in college who made about $35,000 per year doing this only on the weekends while in college.
Become a Dog Walker
What I love about this side hustle is that you get exercise while making money. If you think about it, this really ups its value. Alternatively, you’d have to work and then exercise. With dog walking, you can do both.
Where I live, this job is very much necessary. To find clients where you live, hit up the nice areas of town. Why? People who live there have enough disposable income to hire a walker. They also are probably short on time.
To get the business off the ground, give your information to anyone you see who looks bored walking their pets. There’s a guy who walks by my house each evening. He’s still wearing work clothing. He walks about a snail’s pace. He stares at his iPhone the entire time. He doesn’t look like a dog person. I bet he would love for me to walk his dog.
How will you make extra money?
