    Thanks for including me!

I used to be a Master Fitness Trainer for the Army. You probably already have the cardio to do the run, but you just haven’t actually done it. Believe it or not, the best way to get there is doing sprints. Try doing the Tabata protocol. You’ll feel like ripping your lungs out and throwing them away for the first few, but it will *really* help you with running. It’s what I was doing…until I tore my meniscus and ACL. 😐

    • Impressive! Thank you for the tips Jason, after the first training yesterday, the answer is no, I don’t have the cardio :). I was laughing before starting at the couch to 5K first program, run 1 minute walk 90 sec, thinking it would be oh so easy, after 25 minutes of those I was out of breath! Swimming and cycling you have to breathe differently and there is no hard impact. Just read about the Tabata protocol, I will try that next. Sorry to hear about the ligament tear, maybe it is your turn to switch to swimming!
